Kite Flying!

It was just windy enough today to start flying kites. Looked like a lot of fun. William and I stayed in the house and made supper. Now, I think William had pink eye as well. Ross has had it for the last couple of days, lets just hope I don't get it! Yikes!



William really loves his walker. He can pretty much get around to where he wants to go already.
Ross and I both work the next two days, so no posts till Wednesday!

Easter Egg Hunt!

My work sponsored an Easter egg hunt this morning. We went with Libby and her daughter Madison. Will stayed with Libby's husband. It was kind of windy and cold..too cold for him. They both had a lot of fun. The eggs weren't really hidden, more like spread out in the grass for the kids to pick up, but it was still enjoyable. I was surprised how well they did with the Easter bunny. They weren't scared at all!

A sad day :(

One of Grace's good friends Chase is moving back to Milwaulke area tomorrow, so we decided to go and visit for a short bit to say goodbye. As I was talking with Aimee, the kids were up stairs with squirt guns in the bathroom, with the sink completely full of water! They thought it was funny when they got caught! Grace was sad when we got in the van. We wish them the best and will miss them alot!

Just another day.

Ross was home with the kids today as I had to work. Busy day at work as well. I was exhausted when I got home. Ross said it was too cold to take the kids outside today, so they stayed inside. William is really starting to enjoy being on his tummy. Grace was using the boppy pillow as a cash register.

Burried in the Sand.

Grace played with her neighbor friend Chloe most of the evening. They decided it was a good idea to bury their hands and feet in the sand. I think it is time to upgrade the sand box, especially now that their are three of them!

City Bus Field Trip!

Today at Grace's school they went on a field trip to the pet store AND they took the city bus to get there. Grace was very excited for this day, especially since she missed the last field trip due to not feeling well. Grace told us that she saw fish, and a cat and dog getting a hair cut! She had so much fun!

And so it begins.

As most people know, Ross LOVES to have bon-fires. So, to my surprise tonight when I looked out the back door, Ross had a fire going in the pit! Nice huh. I caught him sitting and enjoying his little fire, (he only made it with a few branches)! Oh well it was still nice to see some more signs of spring!

Guests for the Weekend!

On Saturday, Ross's sister Anita and her family came up for a visit from Sleepy Eye, MN! Grace was so excited for her cousins Abbie and Zach to come and visit her house. She was even ready to share her bunk beds with them. Not happy when we said no! We dyed some eggs in the spirit of Easter. The kids had a lot of fun with them. Charlie was sleeping during this time. He ended up taking an almost 4 hr nap. Yikes!

Williams appointment!

William had his 4 month check up today. He weighs in at 17 lbs 12 oz and 26" long. No wonder his 3-6month clothes don't fit any more. What a healthy chunker!!!!
Looking back at this stage:
Grace was 15 lbs 10 oz 25" long
Charlie was 17 lbs 5 oz 26" long
I guess he is slightly ahead of the pace.

4 months old.

William is exactly 4 months old today and he surprised Grace and I this evening. He was lying on his back while Grace and I were looking at a magazine (american girl doll of course), and when we looked at him, he was on his stomach! So we of course made him do it again and he did! Ross couldn't believe it when he got home, so we put William on the spot and he performed beautifully! Can't believe it...next he will be walking...well actually crawling..but he is growing up so fast!

Sick again! :(

I was suppose to work today at 3, but ended up not making it due to grace waking up from her nap with her eyes matted shut! Errrrr. Pinkeye all around. Charlie also has it. So we ended up going for a walk later on to get out of our house. It was a beautiful day out and Grace was so excited to be riding her bike again outside. William liked the walk also. He didn't make it all the way around though, he ended up falling asleep pretty quickly.

Shopping!

I went shopping today with April. Had a lot of fun! Afterwords we had her family over for a grill out since it was nice out! Grace loves it when Bryce comes over to play. It was a little difficult getting all 5 kids to look at the camera at once.

Volleyball

Ross was busy today playing in a Volleyball tournament at Loopy's. It is an indoor Volleyball court in Chippewa Falls. I took the kids there in the morning to watch Ross and again in the afternoon for a bit. Grace thought it was pretty neat to finally get to watch dad play volleyball. Ross is the one on the left hand side in the gray, on the other side of the net. They ended up taking third out of the 11 teams in their bracket. He was pretty sore when he came home at 11pm!

Can't find camera!

I cannot find the camera anywhere in our house. I am sure Ross knows where it is at, but he is at work and not answering since he is in the air. I don't like taking pics of myself, but since you all want to see my hair I gave in. This picture was taken with my phone, so the quality isn't great, but you get the idea.


It feels great to have all the excess hair off and it is so much easier to do!

Haircuts!

Grace and I had a salon day today. Grace kept begging me to be able to go to the hair smalon(as she calls it). She said she really wanted the lady to wash her hair. So, we went and got our hair cut. She also ended up getting gum in her hair. That was luckily right before we went to the salon. Grace got 2 inches off the ends and I cut about 7 inches off.
Yes Karen, that is one of the shirts you gave to us today. As soon as you left she had to put the Dora shirt on!

Where have we been?

I bet your all wondeirng why I haven't posted in a couple of days. Well, we really haven't done a whole lot. I work the next two days, and Ross is forgetful and doesn't take too many pictures, and if he does it is with his phone and they go on facebook. I recieved pictures from when we had them professionally taken. They were taken by rebeccaz photography here in town, she did an amazing job and I love them.

Just Because

So I am at work today, and the registration gal came and told me I had flowers out front. I thought she was joking..I never get flowers. She was right. This is what was waiting for me out front.

So I of course called Ross and asked him what I got flowers for, he said "Just Because"! Aren't they beautiful. What a wonderful man I am married to!

Hmmmm.....

Lately I have been getting told that William resembles Grace. I always thought he looked alot like Charlie. So today I thought I would post pictures of all the kids at about 4 months old. What do you think?

No more ice!

Got to get outside for a short time today since it was a wonderful day out. The 2 inches of ice has finally all melted off of our driveway and the kids can ride their bikes. I have attempted to teach charlie how to actually ride a bike, but he prefers to push with his feet on the ground yet. He can go much faster that way.

Ice Cream!!

We ran out of ice cream almost two weeks ago and Grace and Charlie have been asking when the Schwans man is going to come with more! He finally came today! They were so excited to see the truck stop by our house! They even got to pick out special ice cream treats!

Everybody is home!

I missed the kids so much. Ross and the kids didn't get back until 10pm last night! It is amazing how much they change in just 3 days. Charlie was amazing me today with his vocabulary and sentences. Either he changed, or I just notice them better since he was gone for a couple of days. Grace seems to have grown up a little since she left. She was very polite today! And William just got bigger. Today we had pictures taken by Rebecca Z Photography here in town. Can't wait to see the pictures. It went great! Other than that...it was alot of laundry from the weekend!

I believe he thinks that the goggles are on the right way.
