Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! We started out our day with some spooky pancakes. I used cookie cutters and cut a pumpkin, ghost, bat and cat out with the pancakes to kick off our Halloween day! The kids thought that was so cool, I did it again for lunch when we had grilled cheese sandwiches. Kids never ate so good. I should try to do that with every meal!

After naps, we started to get ready for Trick-or-treating! Grace has been waiting for this day all week. Charlie I don't think knew what to expect. He was too little last year to remember. Ross was working, so it was just me and the kids! They did so well. Charlie got tired of walking half way through. He actually started picking and choosing which houses he wanted to go to towards the end. Not to many were worthy of his "Trick-or-treat", but he did get enough candy.

Grace was a princess. A very cute one I must say!

Charlie, buzz lightyear. I had been asking him for a while now what he wanted to be for Halloween, and every time it was buzz lightyear! He was very proud of his costume.

And William was a monkey. He sure was a cute monkey!

What a week!

Last Sunday, we had some friends over for the Vikings vs. Packers game. Jason and Rebecca are huge Packers fans...it was fun to have some controversy. I think Jason and Ross has some deep disagreements about the many iffy calls there were!!

Spaghetti night! This was Williams first time having spaghetti! Ross said he had to have a bath afterwards! Looks like Grace stays the cleanest!

Look closely..you can see two top teeth along with the two bottom teeth! He has one other tooth on top to the right, it just hasn't gotten all the way through yet!

Making Strides

This morning, Grace, Charlie and I participated in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk with some friends. The morning started out great, then when it was time to walk...it started to rain. It rained the entire walk. When we got home..it quit! The kids did good. They took really LONG naps in the afternoon!

Grace has been asking for a while now to carve pumpkins. Since we were all home tonight, we thought it would be a great night to do so! They had so much fun. Grace didn't like the feeling of the gut of the pumpkin at first, but she got use to it. Charlie loved to play with the guts! What a boy!

And William!

Now don't be fooled. William loves to stand up on his own...he has taken a step or two here and there, but we aren't walking yet! He seems to think crawling is quicker and more fun! He did take a couple steps the other night toward the stereo to turn it up!!
