Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We started our morning with gifts from Santa! Grace was overjoyed that he came to grandma Lendts' house. She was a little worried he would forget her:)
We then headed to celebrate with my dad's family in Springfield. Santa made an appearance. Grace wasn't to sure about him. She did ask later if that was the "Real" santa or his helper.
After naps, we headed to my Grandma Bauers house!
Here is Grace with her Godparents Brian and Michelle!
Ross got a little present in a Victoria Secret bag.....not to worry it was just some salsa and jalapeno jam!

Group photo. The family is much bigger, but this is all who could make it. Would be nice to have a big family picture for Grandma again!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve is spent with Ross's family. We opened presents in the morning. Grace has been very anxious for every Christmas celebration. She keeps a close count on how many presents she is getting. We had to remind her multiple times the true meaning of Christmas and it's not about getting presents. Doesn't always work to well with a 5 year old. Oh well. Charlie just wanted to rip open every present. And William, well he took a while sometimes to open one present. He really just like every gift his cousin Aiden got!

We are heading back to Sleepy Eye to celebrate Christmas with our families, so we opened our family presents before we left.

Cookies in a jar!

I decided this year to have the kids make a gift for their teacher, godparents, and grandparents for Christmas. I found this cute idea online to put the ingredients for cookies in a jar. The kids loved doing it and they turned out pretty cute!

Christmas Program

Charlie had his Christmas program at school today. Ross and I had the day off together so we were both able to make it. He did pretty well. He is a very quiet singer, but I could see his lips moving and he did most of the motions on time!
William before the program started.

Happy 4th Birthday Charlie!

Today is Charlie's 4th Birthday. Where has the time gone. He is getting to be such a big boy. I had to work for 8 hrs today, so the kids went to Aprils' for the morning. When were were leaving in the morning, Grace had said "Happy Birthday" to Charlie. His response was "It isn't my birthday. I don't have a cake". Oh the things that kid says sometimes cracks me up!

Birthday Party for Charlie

We celebrated Charlie's 4th birthday today with our family who came into town. We went to the Chaos waterpark in the morning, then came home for some naps.
Charlie had first asked for a "Cars" birthday, but then after playing Mario Brothers, quickly decided he wanted a Mario cake. I got this cake from Simply Cakes in Chippewa Falls. It turned out great!
