First Day of School!!!

Today is Grace's first day of Kindergarten. She is so excited. She was worried I was going to forget to wake her up this morning. I drove her to school this morning and stayed for devotion with the boys. Grace took the bus home at 12:00. Her drop off time is 12:49, however she arrived at 1:29. I was starting to get very nervous, but she arrived safe home.

Seattle Day 3!

Today we started out our morning at the Nike store!!!:) I had only brought flip flops along, and was regretting it yesterday since my feet were killing me. So before another long day of walking, I had to stop and get some tennis shoes. Good thing I needed a new pair for work! We then headed to Pikes Place. This is a must see. It was amazing all the people there...and of course, the flying fish!

The market had beautiful flowers everywhere. I really wanted a bouquet, but it would of died by the time we got home.

For lunch, we ate at the crab pot. This is where they put paper on your table, bring your food in a big bowl, and dump it down in front of you and you eat it off the table. Good food, lots of seafood, and fun experience.
After lunch, we took a ferry over to Bainbridge.

Seattle Day 2!

Today we headed south to the Boeing factory for a tour. The driver down there was interesting. He talked so fast, I could barely understand what he was saying....and I talk fast. You would think I would be able to understand him!:) You are not allowed to have cameras on the tour, so I didn't get any pictures of the factory. Apparently someone dropped their camera down in the factory and did thousands of dollars of damage to an airplane that was being made. So, no more cameras!!! It was a very interesting tour. The factory can get an airplane made in just 3 days! That is amazing considering all the detail that goes into an airplane!

It was foggy in the morning. They were doing some test flights, but we weren't able to see them take off or land due to the fog. They also were test flying the new big plane, the Dreamlifter!

Afterward, we headed up to the view the Space Needle.

Then we took a nice walk down part of the waterfront. We also heard that is was SeaFare in Seattle and some US Navy carriers were there and doing free tours, so we thought we would check it out.

Seattle day 1!

Seattle is beautiful! The weather is gorgeous here! We kept ourselves busy trying to see all there is to see, since we don't know when we will get another trip like this! We started out our first day with a Duck Tour of Seattle. It was pretty fun. The driver was good and they do a great job making it interesting and enjoyable.

School Shopping!

Ross is off to Seattle for training so it is just me and the kids. My parents came up to help watch them while I worked. We decided to get Grace's school supply shopping out of the way since I had extra help with the boys! She loved it! I think grandma enjoyed it as well! Here she is with her supplies!

And of course a haircut before school. Keeping it short for now! Much easier to take care of. Plus she looks cute with a bob!
