Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Ross had to work, so it was just me to take the kids out trick-or-treating. Friends of ours came over to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood, which helped out a ton with the kids. DSC_0201 Grace was Jessie from Toy Story, Charlie was Woody from Toy Story, and William was a fire fighter! DSC_0216 Walking up to one of the first houses. DSC_0237 William and Charlie were done after about a half and hour. Grace continued on for a little while longer with our friends. The boys and I came back home and they handed out candy for a while. We went through about 300 pieces of candy.

Pumpkin carving

We finally got around to carving pumpkins. Charlie was not into pulling out the insides of the pumpkin. He has no problem picking up worms and bugs, but won't pull out the pumpkin guts!! Grace was also not wanting to pull out the insides. In the end, I think Ross and I pretty much did the majority of the work for the pumpkins. Oh well, they turned out pretty good though, and the kids enjoyed watching us. Except they kept telling us we were carving to slow!! DSC_0166 DSC_0172 DSC_0183

Silly William!

William decided he needed to entertain us at supper tonight! DSC_0164 Touchdown! DSC_0161 "more" DSC_0159 Not sure what this was, but we all busted out laughing, which made him laugh then do it all over again.

Pumpkin Patch

Ross and I had a day off together, it was a beautiful day out, so we decided to take the kids to the Pleasant Valley Pumpkin Patch. We had such a good time. The kids loved the spooky trail and seeing all the "scary" things they had on it! DSC_0117-1 Getting ready to go on the trail. DSC_0120 DSC_0130 Getting ready to go in one of the spooky bridges. I think Ross had said something to make them scared! DSC_0135 Going down the slides. You can see William up by the right slide. This is as far as he would go. For some reason, he was scared to go down the slide. Grace even tried to help, but he refused to go farther than that! DSC_0145-1

Eau Claire Apple Orchard

I took the boys to the apple orchard today. It was a horrible windy day, and was super cold out. So we didn't stay for long. class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Getting ready to go into the haunted maze.
We made it in about 30 feet, then Charlie decided he had seen enough. Never thought we would make it though anyways, but he wanted to see what it was all about!
William made a friend. They loved the goats!
