Happy Thanksgiving and the Turkey Trot

This year Ross and I decided to participate in the Festival Foods Turkey Trot. You can either run a 5 mile or a 2 mile. I convinced Ross to run the 5 mile. I ran the 2 mile with three other friends of mine. We crossed the finish line at about 25 minutes. I was very surprised I was able to finish running since I am not a strong runner. Ross however finished 106 our of 700 some runners with a time of 37 minutes. I was very proud of him.

We headed to Thanksgiving at Ross's aunts house in the cities. Williams newest this is to hold his cousin Aiden. He will sit on the couch next to you and pat on his lap for you to put him there! It is pretty cute!

Headed over to a friends house to hang out after church. William helped himself to some cake right out of the pan!

First Snow!

When William woke up from a nap, Grace looked outside and saw that there was snow!! she immediately put on her snow gear and headed outside. William followed. Charlie took a longer nap and got out at the end of the day, but I didn't get a picture of him! William doesn't like to keep his gloves on. It might be a long winter with him and those gloves.

Happy 2nd Birthday William

Today, my little man is 2. Can't believe it has been that long ago since he came into our family. He is such a wonderful boy! His smile is so adorable and it just makes me want to smile. He can be the naughtiest boy, but when he smiles, it melts my heart. Grace thinks the world of William and loves to be a big sister to him. Charlie loves to try to wrestle with him. He is such a mommas boy, but has his days of being daddy's little man. He loves the outdoors. He would be the happiest boy if he could be outside all day. I can't believe I don't have a baby in my house anymore! I love you William! Happy Birthday! Opening his gift that Charlie had told him what it was 3 times during the day!

William's 2nd Birthday Party!

Since we were back in Sleepy Eye I decided to have William's 2nd birthday party. It was a good time. He loved his party. He even sang "happy birthday" to himself while everyone else was singing. The gang. William wasn't too interested in ripping off the wrapping paper. He didn't care to much. However, he did LOVE to read the cards!

Fun with Grandparents!

We headed back to Sleepy Eye for the weekend mostly for Ross to deer hunt. The kids got some good quality time with Grandpa and Grandma! Grandpa was getting his gun ready for hunting. The kids thought it was pretty cool. They look so little holding the gun! Night time. William didn't want to read books. He just wanted to be by grandpa. Grace and Charlie however LOVE to have Grandma read their night time books.
