Last day of basketball!
Today was Grace and Charlie's last basketball games. They both had so much fun and improved so well! It was fun to watch them play! Charlie started off in the morning.
In between games, the kids and I ran and got groceries. The only thing I like about cold days, is that I can leave the groceries in the van, and the cold stuff won't get warm. Other than that, there isn't much I like about the cold. The kids and I got lunch together after groceries!
After, Grace's had her last game!
Charlie just loves watching Grace play......can't you tell.

Big helper
William loves to help Ross fix and build things. The new faucet came in and William took full advantage of helping dad put in the new sink!

Leaky sink:(
Yup, you heard that right. Our kitchen sink is leaking. William found a water puddle in the basement. Ross took the faucet apart to see if he could find the problem. Turns out, Moen backs their products up pretty well. He called them, and they replaced it, no questions asked!
It was a friends birthday a day ago, so, as always, we took her out for some drinks and ended up playing bingo!

William, crazy lovable William
Ross had the day off and spent some time with William. Well, they actually get a lot of time together when Ross has off. Today William played with play-dough, which he hasn't done in a while! He made cupcakes!
After that, he helped Ross with laundry. Ross asked him to get the clothes out of the dryer. He caught him crawling out of the dryer. Why, I don't know!

Breakfast after chruch!
Grace has been asking for a while now to go out for breakfast after church. We finally gave in and headed to one of our favorite breakfast spots, Altoona Family Restaurant. They are quick and the food is great!
Charlie got a large waffle with strawberries. Yup, he ate the whole thing!
William, two large pancakes, as requested. Yup, he at all of it as well, plus half of my hash browns!
Grace got strawberry pancakes. She however did not eat all of hers! She did have three large pancakes to eat, that is quite a lot of food!

Basketball and visit from Grandma and Grandpa!
Basketball is almost over with. I missed Charlie's game, I was on call and got called in for a heart cath! Bummer. Grace's game was at 12:45. One would think Charlie would like to watch to see how to play, nope. He keeps himself busy by bringing markers and a drawing book!
William keeps himself busy by bouncing the basketball everywhere!
When we got home from Grace's game we had a few visitors! Grandma and Grandpa Krebs and Aunt Kathy came for a visit! The kids kept them busy with games of chess, checkers and ping pong!

Too much fun with the sitters!
The kids were off from school today! Fun for them, stressful for mom. All my current sitters had class, so we had to get a new sitter. We started our day having to pick her up since her car decided to not start on the day we needed her! I was a little late for work, but the kids didn't mind because we stopped and got some donuts for breakfast! Quick and easy, and not something we do very often! After work, we had to bring the sitter back home. I think William made it about 5 minutes in the van before he fell asleep! He was out. He doesn't take naps very often, if ever, so if he does fall asleep, you know he was worn out! Great job Morgan!! The kids really like the new sitter! Keep her on our list!
After we got home, it was time to get ready for bed. As I went upstairs to get the kids ready, I found the boys room to look like this!! Apparently William thought he would try to string toilet paper from the ceiling fan! No idea where he gets these ideas from! Not to mention, it makes mom super happy to find a messy room!

Family time!
What a great day, well besides it being really cold outside! Ross had the day off and I was done with work at 3 AND we had nothing going on at night! It felt like we had a TON of family time today! How did we spend all our time together you may ask! Well, the boys spent some quality time in wrestling in the four season porch. It lasted for about 10 min until someone got hurt, of course!
Grace and Charlie have really gotten in to playing chess. They play against each other, and see who can beat Ross. Tonight, they both took turns at playing dad! He is proud to say, the 8 and 7 year old still have not beaten him!

Bunk beds once again!
The boys have asked quite a few times since we moved in to have their bunk beds back again. After some much thinking about the pros and cons of the boys sharing a room, Ross and I decided to give it a try. The boys are bunked in Charlie's room, and we turned Williams room into a play room. Not sure how long this may last, but the boys are really enjoying sharing a room and the kids love having a play room again! Plus, we now have an extra bedroom for visitors!!!

Lazy night
Some nights, I just want to relax on the couch. With our three kids, there isn't much relaxing done by anyone! However tonight, I got to relax with all three of the kiddos as we waited for dad to get home!

Grace has gotten in to the books "The littles". love seeing her read so
much!

Loads of laundry
The laundry in this house seems to be never ending! Doesn't help that one of our children likes to change his clothes at least 2 times a day, sometimes more. This is also the same child who does not like to put his clothes away. Instead he hides them in corners of his room, under bed or where ever he can. Then when I find them, says they are dirty and throws them all down the laundry shoot! I will let you guess who that might be:). Well, I told him I was no longer going to fold his clothes since he has so many. The kids now have to fold their own clothes! So, that is what we did today!
William is multi-tasking here! Talking to dad on the phone and folding socks!
Charlie working hard:)

Happy Valentines Day!
We had a super busy day! Grace and I started our day taking the van to get an oil change! We hd a little girl time. It was fun and well needed for us!
Grace has been asking for a while now to bake her own cake. What better day than Valentine's Day!
She did everything by herself. I sat and watched and answered questions, but didn't help at all! She chose to make a heart cake! She did a wonderful job! And it was delicious!
Something I have done every year on Valentine's day is make cut out cookies! This year was no different! I even had some extra helpers this year!
Later on, Ross and I headed out for a night out! We have never gone out on Valentine's day, and a friend asked us if we wanted to go to a comedy show in Menomonie! Of course! It was a great time!

Vacation planning
Ross and I decided that this would be the year we started taking a family vacation. We are going to exciting Door County end of August! I have been trying to figure out what to do and budget for the trip. As most people know, I can get quite crazy with organization. So here are my notes so far.....can't wait for August!

Flowers....for me?!?!
That is my reaction when the front desk calls me at work and tells me I have flowers. Ross is not one to send flowers, so when he does it is always a surprise and sweet gesture! They were beautiful too!

Valentines!
This day crept up on me way to fast. I can't believe it is February already. William was the first to remind me that he still needed to make valentines for his classmates. So, that is what the kids did!

Pizza Ranch Field Trip!
I was able to get the day off to drive to Grace's class field trip to The Pizza Ranch! It was fun to see how the kids all interact and watch Grace with her friends. It was also nice to have an extra day off from work! Showing the kids how they make the dough.
William got to go along too!:)
