10 Years!
Can't believe it myself! Today is Ross and I's 10 year Anniversary! It is amazing how much God has blessed us in the last 10 years. So how did we celebrate you might wonder? Well we both worked long days. I was on call(I know dumb right) and ended up staying until 7 and got called back in at 1am! Because of the snow storms around the upper Midwest, Ross's flights were delayed and he landed about an hour later than scheduled, then he got home and blew snow! Grace had basketball practice today also, but since Ross and I were both working our wonderful babysitter took her! Don't know what we would do without her!

Snow Day!
School was called off for a wind chill of -40. What do you do after a long day of being stuck in the house? Chase each other of course. This is a daily occurrence in our house. For some reason William is always the one chasing Charlie. The kids did go over to the neighbors for a long time today which gave Ross time to himself to...........I'll get back to you on that:)

Family games!
Another cold day. The kids have really enjoyed playing games after supper. I would like to say it calms them down, but you can see from the pictures that is not true! One of the kids favorite games is Spot It! Not to brag, but I am undefeated in this game. The kids challenged Ross to try to beat me. Grace was trying to help dad, but it still didn't work! Needless to say, still undefeated! After that round, we played Skip-Bo. Another favorite. One of these days I would like to be able to take a picture without someones silly face in the picture, but for now...enjoy!

Brrr.
Well back to work for me. It was a wonderful 5 days off(insert sarcasm). Ross still has another day off! I got in my car this morning and once I got to work, this is what the temperature read. I hear it is suppose to get colder!

Games and more games
Still couch potatoes here. I ended up going in to Urgent Care due to increasing pain and difficulty walking. Not to mention a friend of mine told me I had to...:) Turns out, my tailbone is broke. A non-displaced fracture which he hopes should heal just nicely. Two weeks minimum healing time if not longer. Ross says his pain is not as bad as mine...that or I am a big wimp! We think his is probably broken too, but he didn't want an x-ray to find out! Kids have been doing great. They attend to our needs nicely as we lay on the couch. Ross has been able to get up more and move around. I can do small amounts before I get really sore. To pass the time and avoid fighting we have been playing LOTS of games. Ross even taught Grace and Charlie how to play football and baseball on the playstation. Not sure that is a good thing or not!
(ps. these pictures were taken on the 1st. I forgot to take picutes today. So in case you are wondering how Ross can sit so well, this was before the accident!)

Down and out!
Although the kids had a fun time sledding yesterday, Ross and I did not. We decided to pretend we are still young and went down together on a sled. We ended up going over a large rock, which we both believe to have either broken or severely bruised our tailbone. So, instead of haveing a fun weekend with the kids, Ross and I are bumming it on the couch. Luckily we both have off from work till Monday. Praying for fast healing. We don't do well not being mobile and active. Thank goodness the kids have been understnding and helpful. We are also very thankful for the wonderful friends we have made. April and Rebecca helped me to the truck while the guys packed up our sleds and kids and the Sydows took our kids overnight so we could get some relief. It was a blessing.

Sledding Fun!
It was a beautiful day out! The sun was shining and it wasn't too cold. So after, we watched the WI Badgers win the Outback Bowl, we took the kids to Pinehurst sledding with some friends. William did not want to stop and go home. He could of gone all day. He actually kept telling us it was still morning out and we couldn't leave yet!
