Ross's sister Autumn is expecting her first baby in January, so we threw a baby shower for her and the new baby! It was a good day. We thought we wouldn't be able to have it at first due to the pure ice that formed on the ground overnight causing slippery roads...but it ended up melting in time and everyone was able to make it. I made a diaper cake for the occasion, first one ever. Turned out pretty nice.

The night before the baby shower, Ross's mom and I were chatting about the baby, calling it "baby Gode" since they didn't find out what they are having. Grace looked at us and said "They named their baby Gode??" It was the cutest, funniest thing I have heard in a while.
